Mr. James E. Dukes is a native son of Atlanta, Georgia and a resident of Acworth, GA who went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2025. He leaves to treasure his memory, his loving wife of 60 years Gwendolyn Dukes, his 3 children and daughter-in-law: Lynnenise M. Dukes-Holloway, Jennifer E. Dukes, Jonathan M. Dukes, and Khan Trang Dukes. He also leaves to cherish his memory 3 wonderful grandsons Matthew J. Holloway, Michael A. Dukes and Gabriel I. Dukes and a host of family and friends.
A visitation for James will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152. The funeral service will occur Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Zion Baptist Church, 165 Lemon St NE, Marietta, GA 30060 with the interment to follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
