James Wayne Fain age 79 of Dallas, formally of Smyrna died September 27, 2010. Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home – Winkenhofer Chapel. Rev’s Robert Wardlaw and Tom Lee officiating. Interment at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born on Sept 27, 1931 in Morganton, GA. Mr. Fain was an Apprentice Funeral Director with Winkenhofer Funeral Homes until his retirement in 2004. His earlier retirement came from Continental Corrugated and Stone Container in Atlanta after 25 years of service. He enjoyed working with youth groups at his church Spring Street Baptist in Smyrna. He spent many years helping young people in the Smyrna Softball league. Loved sports and watching the Braves win. Preceded in death by parents Prince Fain and Naoma Dillard Fain; grandson Jason Lawson.
