James Donald Spence

On July 7, 1990, he was married to Margaret. They were married for thirty years before his passing. Donald would often take Margaret traveling throughout several states. He really liked going; whether it was going to visit family, on fun vacations or just ride down the road. He loved spending time with Margaret and all the children and grandkids.

Donald was a kind, sweet and gentle man. He loved and adored his wife and made a point to become his step-children’s friend. This made the strength of their bond immeasurable. Above all, Donald held a special relationship with the Lord.

Along with his wife, Margaret, Donald is survived by step-sons, Charles (Shana) Ingram and Jason (Amy) Ingram; step-daughter Vickie (Kenny) Smith; Sister-in-law, Betty Spence; step-grandchildren, Casey (Jessica) Smith, Chelsey Smith (Jacob) Jenkins, Blake Ingram, and Zack (Kelsey) Kay; step-great-grandchildren, Jase Smith, Mason Smith, Ansley Smith, Dean Kay, and Kalyn Jones; and many loving nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

A funeral service to honor James Donald Spence will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at noon. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, November 25, 2019 between four o’clock in the evening and eight o’clock in the evening and two hours prior to the service on Tuesday.
