

Jeff White Crawford, 83, of Kennesaw, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Graveside service will be held Saturday, January 16, at Pineridge Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum beginning at 3pm with Rev. Bruce Laird officiating.
A native of Albany, GA, Mr. Crawford graduated from Albany High School in 1952 and then attended Georgia Southern University. His entire life was connected to music, from his service in the US Air Force as a band director with a tour of duty that sent him to Japan. Mr. Crawford was the band director at Sacred Hearts Girls High School in Biloxi, MS when his band was invited to play at President Lyndon B. Johnson’s inauguration. Jeff retired from Conn-Selmer, Inc. 14 years ago where he was a District Sales Manager.
Preceding Mr. Crawford in death were his wife – Charlene, parents - Tom & Elsie Crawford, and brothers – Holt Crawford and Gene Crawford.
Survivors include his daughters – Elise Sandbach and husband Sandy Sandbach, Jamie Leckband and husband Dean Leckband; grandchildren – Chris Sandbach, Lauren Sandbach, Stephen Sandbach, Megen Leckband, and Nick Leckband; brother – Jon Crawford, and his sister Mary Alice Crawford.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to “VH1 Save the Music”.
A reception will follow at the home of Jamie and Dean Leckband, 2829 Livsey Woods Dr, Tucker, GA 30084.
