Kay Elizabeth McDaniel, age 54 of Woodstock passed on December 29, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Kay was born in Bluefield, WV., to the late Norman and the late Elaine McKinney.
Kay touched the lives of many, and anyone who knew her knew that she always tried to find the good in a situation; her optimistic viewpoints and unconditional love were two of her greatest strengths. She had a smile that could light up a room, a laughter that was beyond contagious, and those beautiful blue eyes that managed to sparkle in every situation.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Dusty McDaniel; son, Bobby McDaniel; daughter, Stephanie McDaniel; grandson, Mason McDaniel.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 1, 2014 from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
