Larry J. Goodwin, age 81 passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022. Larry was a retired machinist from Lockheed where he worked for 37 years. In his spare time, he coached youth baseball at Adams Park in Kennesaw and was an avid golfer. Larry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Larry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Helen B. Goodwin; his sons Greg Goodwin (Angie), Jeffrey Goodwin (Alicia), and Mark Goodwin (Lori); 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Larry will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A chapel service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Stephen Everett officiating. Larry will be laid to rest in Pineridge Memorial Park, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, GA 30152-2606. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Larry's memory may be made to American Heart Association, heart.org.
