Lester Benjamin Harris, 75, went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2016. Mr. Harris enjoyed bowling, painting, sketching and golf. He was Christian in faith, and a member of the Local Painters Union #5. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday January 24, 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, Kennesaw, Georgia. Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and three brothers. Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Ethelene Harris (Lambert); mother in law Ruby Guillory, daughter Stephanie Shavers; son, Anthony Ray Harris (Tracy Hankins Harris); niece, Angela Harris; sisters, Lillie Littleton (Edgar), Carolyn Hare, and Mary Crowder (James); four grandchildren, Tymisha, Nathaniel, Michael, Brandon; four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Nate, Silas and Troy; The family will be receiving guests from 1pm until 2pm at the funeral home. Lester leaves behind a host of family and friends. He will be missed by all. The family would like to extend their heart-felt thanks to Mr. Harris’ caregivers, Clara Primus, Constance Scott, and Jamilla Smith.
