

Born to Edward and Helen Wheaton Richter in Boston, MA, she was the youngest of seven children. She lived in Massachusetts until she married Phillip Visha in May 1957. She worked for the Georgia Department of Transportation for 15 years, starting in the mail room, was promoted to secretary at the Office of Location and retired from Air Transportation at Charlie Brown Airport. She loved to cross stitch and especially loved making gifts for others. She also enjoyed crocheting, doing crossword puzzles and watching Days of Our Lives with Buster at her side. A devote Christian she was part of the Altar Guild at Trinity Anglican Church in Douglasville.

Husband of 58 years – Phillip T. Visha of Powder Springs
3 daughters – Christina and Brett Baxley of Buchanan, GA; Catherine and James Fairlamb of Smyrna, GA ; Jeanne and Greg Mabry of Marietta, GA
Son – Phillip and Mary Visha of Thomaston, GA
8 grandchildren – Morgan and Zack Stahl, Travis Mabry, Catherine Baxley, Lucas Baxley, Isabella Fairlamb, Olivia Fairlamb, Margaret Laton, Kathyrn and Frank Bickerstaff.
5 great grandchildren – Maybrie Stahl, Jack Laton, Elizabeth Bickerstaff, Frank Bickerstaff, and Ruth Bickerstaff.
Sisters in Law- Dolores Visha, Anna Visha, Athina Crawford, Bonnie Dimitry and Valerie Fullerton.
Several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 1 pm Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, GA with Rev. Jim Cheetham officiating.
Family will receive friends from noon until 1 at the funeral home.
