

M. Bruce Murdock, 91, of Suwanee, Georgia, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 10, 2025. Born in Auburn, New York, on October 13, 1933, to Marshall and Mertice Murdock, Bruce was known for his outgoing, friendly personality and a heart full of kindness.
Bruce's life was marked by integrity, humor, and a deep devotion to those he loved. He enjoyed kidding around, sharing jokes, and spreading joy wherever he went. A man of many virtues, Bruce was hard-working, honest, gentle, kind-hearted, patient, selfless, and beloved by all who knew him.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Cornell University and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, receiving an honorable discharge after just under 2 years of service. Professionally, Bruce worked as a Sales Engineer for Crepaco, Inc. until his retirement.
Bruce shared 48 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life and best friend, Frances Saldi Murdock, until her passing in 2008. He is survived by his children, Brian Marshall Murdock (Eva) and Leslie Murdock Willis (Bryant); grandchildren, Meagan Lough (Nathan), Tristan Willis, Landon Murdock, Raquel Murdock, and Mary Cameron Willis; and great-grandson, Jack Lough. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances, his parents Marshall and Mertice, and his sister, Carol Spalding.
A lifelong tinkerer and handyman, Bruce enjoyed building projects, gardening, and traveling with Frances. Above all, his greatest joy was spending time with his family—especially during holidays and special occasions.
His loving nature, joyful spirit, and appreciation for life will be dearly missed.
A Graveside Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, Georgia 31052.
