A service will be held 4:00pm Saturday, December 4th at Winkenhofer Funeral Home in Kennesaw. He was cremated. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2pm until the time of service.
Mr. Coolidge was born on June 25, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio to Ralph and Donna Coolidge. He moved to Acworth in 1967 and graduated from North Cobb High School in 1979.
Having survived two occurrences of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and a brain tumor, R.J. faced these with courage and never let adversity affect his love for life or his upbeat spirit.
He was an entrepreneur and public servant who served on the Woodstock, Georgia City Council from 1994-1998; the Cherokee County Planning and Zoning Committee and the Cherokee County Courthouse Committee. He also served as the Chairman of the Cherokee County American Cancer Society.
R.J. is survived by his daughter, Natalie Lane Coolidge; mother, Donna Booth; father Ralph Coolidge, Jr.; sister, Patti Salazar; and brother, Calvin Coolidge.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made in RJ's honor to the American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.
