Richard Jeffrey Fix, age 78, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022. He was born on April 16, 1944 in Long Branch, New Jersey to Henry and Helen Fix. Richard proudly served in the United States Army as an Army Specialist, and graduated in 1966 from Monmouth University.
He is survived by his wife, Senia Fix; daughter, Holly Briganti; and son, Christopher Fix; grandchildren, Claudia Briganti, Giovanni Briganti and Sofia Briganti.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Helen Fix.
He was known for his great sense of humor and his ability to mix well with others. In younger days he squared danced in Cobb County's clubs. After he retired in 2004 he continued to keep in touch with his office coworkers for several decades.
A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 2:30 PM, at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 N. Cobb Parkway NW, Kennesaw GA 30152, immediately after the inurnment at 2:00 PM.
Richard will be laid to rest in Pine Ridge Memorial Park, adjacent to the Funeral Home.
