He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and had worked in Law Enforcement most of his life.
Survived by his wife, Barbara McWilliams; sons, Wayne McWilliams, Jeff McWilliams; sister, Louise M. Smith; grandchildren, Sam Gambrell, Maggie Gambrell, Jessica Jones, Matt Jones, Kayla Ellis, Taylor Ellis, Keilyn Jones, Calab Jones, Marie Wallace, Susan Boss, Matthew McWilliams, Amanda Blackwell.
Funeral services will be held Thursday Dec. 11 at 2 PM in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Ledbetter officiating.
Interment will follow in Amazing Grace (Jones Memorial) Church Cemetery in Forest Park, GA.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 12 noon until 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
