Funeral services will be held 3 pm Sunday, September 1, 2013 at NorthStar Church in Kennesaw with Rev. Mike Linch officiating with internment at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.
Born in Valdosta, Georgia, David grew up in a military family and he served six years in the Air Force. He loved his family most of all, and was dependable and selfless when it came to his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, BBQ and was a lifelong Braves fan. He was preceded in death by his father James Robert Lewis.

2 sons – Chris and Carrie Lewis of Acworth; Brad and Meredith Lewis of Dallas
Mother - Mary Nell Lewis of Rydal, GA
Sister – Ann Bailey of Montgomery, AL
Brother – Greg and Sandy Lewis of Rydal, GA
Sister in law – Reba and Dwain Sherrill of Kennesaw
Brother in law Gary and Della Mashburn of Dallas
5 grandchildren: Chaz Phillips, Rylee Lewis, Chandler Phillips, Mitchell Lewis, Robby Lewis.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the David Lewis Memorial Fund (c/o Christopher Lewis) at any BB&T branch.
Visitation will be held 4pm till 8 pm Saturday at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw
