Rufus Z. Gilder, Sr., 87, of Marietta, died Sunday, October 4, 2015. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 10 at Red Top Mountain beginning at noon. Mr. Gilder was preceded death by his father &mother Grover and Eva Mae Gilder, brother James and his sister Leona.
Rufus is survived by his children – Zac Gilder, Vickie Johnson, Lee Gilder, and Rufunda Gilder; brother – Forest Gilder; sisters – Frances Parker and Doris Roberson. There are also 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren that survive.
