Stephen Andrew Coombs, age 63, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica on December 2, 1961. Steve served proudly and honorably in the United States Air Force. He was one of a kind and will be missed by all that had the honor of knowing him.
Steve was an excellent cook, and had all of the gadgets you could think of when it came to the kitchen. The air fryer was his prized possession. Steve had a green thumb, he tended to his plants with love. He was a fan of both kinds of football, the teams he rooted on were Manchester United and the Dallas Cowboys. Steve was a simple man, his family brought him all the joy and happiness in the world.
Steve is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sandra Coombs, mother, Shirley Coombs, daughters; Jade Palmer, Paige Caylor (Jason), Sabrina Coombs, and Sydney Coombs, brothers, Gary Coombs (Andrea), and Godfrey "Andy" Coombs, sister; Opal Coombs, and grandchildren; Noah Caylor, and Silas Caylor.
A funeral service for Stephen will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152.
