Stephen Hoge

Stephen McLean Hoge of Kennesaw, Ga at the age of 82 passed away on December 24, 2025.He was born February 6, 1943 in Hackensack, New Jersey to late Ivan A. and Louise Arnold Hoge. When he was four years old, the family moved to his mother’s birthplace in Rome, GA to take care of his grandmother. He graduated from Darlington School and Shorter College for accounting and where he played on the golf team. He then served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea.He retired from City Court of Atlanta where he was a Bailiff.

Stephen married Bonnie (Pangborn) on August 28, 1993 and were married 28 years until her passing in 2022.

He is survived by his brother Arnold (Sally) Hoge, his sister Linda ( David’s) Wilkin and his 2 children Mark (Rebecca)Coons, Woodstock, and Monica (Daniel) Clark, Acworth. He leaves behind 7 grandkids and 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie, his grandson, Thomas (TJ) Clark, his sister Marilyn Hoge Meyer, and his parents Ivan A. and Louise Arnold Hoge.

Stephen was a huge Georgia Tech Football fan and had regular season passes. He loved to be out working on his lawn or in his small garden.

The family will have a celebration of life for Stephen on February 7, 2026 at 11:30 am at First United Lutheran Church with a small reception to follow.

If anyone would to wear a Georgia Tech shirt the day of celebration they may due so in honor of him.
