She was preceded in death by the late Lehman "Dude" Thomas. They were married 49 years before his passing in April 2000. Her four brothers Joseph, Robert, Billy, and Paul and three sisters Sister Mary Leonelle, Sister Mary, Regina, and Mary Dyer precede her in death. She is the mother of six children, Shirley Travillian (Alan) Marietta, Gary Thomas, Council Bluffs, Iowa, Dan Thomas (Donna) Acworth, Kathy Crowe, Roswell, Mark Thomas (Charlene) Buchanan, and Jeanne Crumbley, Acworth, 13 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
