William Henry Crowe

Mr. William "Bill" Henry Crowe age 79 of Kennesaw passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. Family will receive friends from 4 till 6 pm Friday, June 17, 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home for a visitation, followed by a memorial service with Military Honors.

Born in Cartersville, Georgia to Gilbert and Nellie Crowe, Mr. Crowe was in retail sales most of his career throughout the Southeast. He was actively involved in Heck Field and Perry Parham Baseball programs for many years, serving as President of Perry Parham Baseball in 1971. He was also owner of Billy Crowe's Mini Quick Grocery Store. He was an MP in the Air Force during the Korean War stationed in the Philippines where he met his future bride.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Guerda Crowe of Kennesaw; sons Billy Darrell Crowe of Kennesaw; Michael David (Sharon) Crowe of Kennesaw; Kevin Thomas (Nicole) Crowe of Jasper ; Miles Howard (Monica) Crowe of Acworth and Robert (Cynthia) Saunders of Lexington, SC; daughter Phyllis Henderson of Houston, TX; sister Shirley Matthews of Gainesville, GA, and 14 grandchildren. Mr. Crowe was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Maranell Crowe Silvers and Geraldine Crowe Wills.
