William grew up in Jasper, GA with three sisters, Peggy, Patricia, Eva and one brother, Charles. He served in the Air Force and worked at General Motors in his early years.
William met his wife of 54 years, Janice Kathleen O’Neal, and they enjoyed sharing their life together and making special family memories. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Sharon Lynn and Kimberly Diane. The blessings continued as Sharon married Patrick Ryan and they welcomed two daughters, Jordan Marie and Shelby Tea. The family was blessed again as Kimberly married Brad Bitterman, and they welcomed two daughters, Ella Brooke and Lily Frances.
William loved the outdoors and started his own Landscaping company, Jordan Landscaping. He loved to read and teach himself new things. Through the years, he enjoyed working on cars, square dancing, photography, playing guitar, rose gardening, woodworking, pen turning, and country music. William’s greatest joy was spending time with his family, and he loved his special role as “Papa”.
Everyone that knew William, described him as a good, honorable man. He was a man of few words and a lot of heart. He worked hard to provide for his family and his greatest joy was celebrating life with them. He will live forever in our hearts.
