Peacefully at rest after battling cancer Catherine Ostrom passed away on March 31, 2011 at the Kenora District Hospital at age 51.
She is survived by her three children Colin (Edmonton), Curtis (Calgary) and Corrin (Kenora), their father Larry Cranston, and her partner Joel Andruchuk, and his step son Dustan Page. Her grandchildren Brooklyn, Brayden (re: Corrin) and Landon (re: Colin).
Catherine was predeceased by her daughter Carol-Ann, her mother Shirley Ostrom, and her father Ben Ostrom.
Catherine was born at McKellar General Hospital, in Fort William, Ontario
She loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She lived her life for her family. Her interests were being outdoors, camping with family and friends, having bonfires, being around water, relaxing in the sun reading novels on a summer day.
She will be loved and missed by all her family and friends.
Memorial prayers will be held on Wednesday April 6th, 2011 at the Jubilee Church of God, 215 First Street South, Kenora, Ontario from 11am to 2pm.
