Cindy passed away tragically 17 days before her 60th Birthday.

Cindy is survived by her mom Susan Fobister, her children her children, Mike Clara, Alexei (Erykah), Douglas Jr, Caradine, Daniel and Suzanne. her sister Alice and brother JC. Grandkids Mandy, Owen, Rav, Sonny & Danny, Anakin & Jasper, Jace, Colton, Indigo, Makayla, Troy & Chenille.

Her cousins who she saw as siblings, Lucy, Pook, Tracy, Christine, Rita, Tony, Charliey, Ian, JJ, Frazer, Ryan, her nephews: Leon, John Jr, Jesse, Tamas, Jeremy, Billy, Waylon, Ben Lim, Percival King, Toby and Simon, her nieces: Jordan, Marni, Rose, Keira, Willow, Della Rayne, Nyssa, Kimberly, Sarah, Alanda, Carissa, Shania and Jacklyn, aunts Clara, Brenda, Evelyn, Rita and uncle Bill F., Great nephews & nieces she viewed as grandkids: Peyton, Emmalyn, Marcus, Riley, Austin, Kevin, Larry, Allison, Shirley, Cheyenne, Tianna, Sara, Akkwi and Stormy.

She was predeceased by her daughter Skye, grandparents Lucy & Joseph K, Alice & Thomas F, her father Frank F, her brothers Jason and Barney, sisters Penny and Shirley, uncles Gabe K, Daniel, Simon, Steve, Gabe F, John F, Alex F, Andrew F, Aunties, Jess, Sharon and Josephine, nephews Colten Fobister, Hail and Langford, and her cousins Bridgette, Lawrence, Donny, Marcia, Walter, Raymond, Everett and Jeff and too many other family to mention.

Her best friend was her daughter Cara, she absolutely loved her grandchildren & unofficial grandchildren, her unofficial grandchildren called her Kookum & visited her and the pets often. She was the aunt everyone turned to. She enjoyed cooking, the outdoors, Bingo and being with her family and fur babies. The family is building a memorial garden in her memory where her family home used to be.

A Wake Service will be held at Trapper's Building in Grassy Narrows, Ontario on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 3:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Trapper's Building in Grassy Narrows, Ontario on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 10:00 am with burial to follow in Grassy Narrows.
