

Diana Glennie, a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away on June 3, 2026, in Kenora, Ontario, at the age of 71. Born on August 4, 1953, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Diana's life was a testament to love, generosity, and unwavering support for those around her.
Diana was a sister to Pamela, June, Kathy and Lauri, a proud mother of two daughters, Shauna Tascona and Raeleen Tascona. She was also a devoted grandmother to Breanna Barron, Laney Dickson, Desiree Dickson, Jaycthane Keesick, and Declan Gower. Her legacy of love extended further to her great-grandchildren: Abby, Everleigh, Edson, Mayzie, and Rowan.
Diana's family was the center of her world; she poured her heart into nurturing them and creating lasting memories. Known for her boundless compassion and selflessness, Diana touched countless lives through her kindness. She had an ability to make every feel
valued and supported. Whether offering advice or simply being a shoulder to cry on, Diana was always there for those who needed her most. Her home became a haven not only for her family but also for foster children who needed care and stability. Her open heart and willingness to help others left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Diana's dedication to helping others extended beyond her family. She was an active volunteer in her community and could always be counted on to lend a hand at high school plays, garage sales, fundraisers-whatever the need may have been. Her enthusiasm for giving back was infectious; she inspired others with her energy and commitment to making a difference. In accordance with Diana's wishes, there will not be a traditional funeral service. Instead, a celebration of life will be held at Kenora Arts Hub, August 4, 2026 from 3:00pm-5:00pm to honor the remarkable woman she was.
