She leaves behind her daughter, Jodi, son-in-law Matt, and her three precious grandchildren, Morghyn, Molli, and Cord, who will forever hold her close in their hearts and cherish all the precious memories they shared.
Donna’s siblings, Russell, Denise, Rhonda, and Rodney, along with their families, will fondly remember the many laughs, adventures, and fun-filled years they shared together.
Donna’s roots ran deep in Minaki, a place that remained close to her heart throughout her life. In her younger years, she was proudly crowned Minaki Carnival Queen. Over the years, she worked as a secretary with the O.P.P., a bookkeeper, and a restaurateur. She was an amazing cook and was affectionately known as the “Perogy Grandma.”
In her spare time, Donna loved fishing, gardening, knitting, and watching the hummingbirds—a simple reminder of the beauty she found in everyday moments.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Mike Limerick, Dr. Bhat, Susan Lacroix, and Traut Barber for their kindness, guidance, and support during these past few months.
Donna will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will take place next summer.
