It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Garnet Michaud on August 1, 2026.

Garnet was predeceased by his parents, John Paul and Mary Jane Michaud; his brothers, Harry, Felix, and John Paul Jr.; his sister, Baby Angel; his grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other beloved family members, including Auntie Hilda, Janet, Josephine, Louise, David, Nancy, Shirley, Donna, Charlie, Johnny, Katie, Billy, George, Marjorie, and his nephew Desmond.

He leaves behind his beloved son, Garnet Fisher, and his sister, Denise (Larry). He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews Sarain, Clarissa, Sergio, and Dawn; his grandchildren Judson, Jaylen, Neo, and Malakai; his aunt and uncle Percy Michaud and Pauline; Richard Gray and Elsie Igance; and many cousins, including Eldon, Perry (Barbara), Diane, George, Isabel, Julia, Noella, Shirley, Frank, Harvey Smith, Douglas, Melvin, Edward, Davey, Victor, and Dwayne, along with many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Garnet shared a special friendship with Greg Strang and George Land, and he will be dearly missed by all of his many friends.

Garnet loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing gin rummy, bingo, visiting casinos, and shooting eight-ball pool with his friends. He will be remembered for the joy he brought to those around him and for the many memories shared with the people he loved.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
