I knew his parents Gordie and, Kaye from having lived across the road on Minnesota Street for 5 years.
I remember seeing Gus often and remember his most current Harley. I am sure he is somewhere looking after the Cats in the big beyond.

So sorry Karen. Met Gus in my early days through my brother Mervin. Always enjoyed our conversations in his driveway or over the past few years at Safeway.

Karen , so sorry to hear of  Gus s  passing and heartfelt. condolences to you .From the days of the hog shop in lakeside doing burnouts and having  the odd ??? beer , motorcycles are what brought us together and kept us together through the years . There were very few events that Gus was not part of . We were in good company then with the likes of Al Peacock, Clay Nolan,Kirk Doran, Wayne  Mackie just to name a few . Gus knew and loved his old pan head. I lost track of how many times he tore it down and rebuilt it . He was a perfectionist  in his own right. He was a big part of the summer bar-b-q and ride with the raffle for a new Harley . Gus was very well known and extremely respected .MY bike world just got smaller for him not being in it. Ride on my friend .... you will be missed .

Karen, I’m so sorry to hear of Gus’s passing. He was always so good to the Caron Family. I remember having my wedding pictures taken in his yard 34 years ago, that’s just one of many memories I have. Of course our love for cats.

Sincere condolences on the loss of Gus. He was a childhood friend of my mother Diane Quinton and her brothers. When Mom was widowed Gus was a strong support helping her with chores around the house. He was a kind person and loved cats too.

My sincere condolences to Gus’s family. 

My late mom, Diane Bradley was friends with Gus dating way back to  childhood. 

He was such a nice man. Rest in peace, Gus.
