After a brave and courageous battle with brain cancer for 27 years, he can now rest in the arms of his Mom and Dad who have been waiting for him to come home.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years who will cherish his memory forever Tracy and their three beautiful children who he loved with all his heart - Shayne (Jamie), Brandan and Christie, his two little baby grandchildren, his absolute pride and joys -Grayson (Stinky) and Sophia (Princess).
His sister Jen-Joe and his three special nephews, Jordan (Caitlin), Carson and Tyler. His loving grandmother Florence St.Denis, his ever loving and helpful mother-in law Marge Guderyan and
brother-in-law Trevor Guderyan. He had a huge family and leaves to mourn numerous aunty’s, uncles and cousins that all love and loved him dearly.
Predeceased by his mother and father Glen and Ginnette, his father-in-law Ernie Guderyan, his Memere and Pepere, his grandfather Dave St.Denis and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was an extremely loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, husband, father, grandfather, an uncle and a friend. He kept his childhood buddies close to him, he had a special kind of bond and would do anything with and for his lifelong best friend Jay, new and old friends were so important to him.
He would always make the time to have a beer with his buddies which truly were his extended family. He would laugh with you, cry with you and encourage you by giving you that kick in the bottom you needed to just persevere and conquer all obstacles before you.
His strength, stubbornness and determination were something to be admired. He accomplished all goals he set his mind to, literally everything until time stopped him. He was a hard worker with amazing work ethic. He worked many jobs and was successful in them all including building multiple homes from scratch, running any type of equipment and even heading west to conquer another dream of venturing and exploring new heights in the world, focusing on providing for his family the entire time.
He was a jack of all trades and mechanically inclined, he loved working in his garage on anything from snow machines to motorbikes, he helped with everybody’s vehicles and back to his beloved truck project, all while listening to the same 400 songs for almost his entire life.
He grew up on black sturgeon lake and loved fishing, shoveling off rinks to skate on, dirt bikes, snow machines, swimming, boating and hanging out with his friends and family. He was an avid hockey player and loved watching his favorite team Toronto Maple Leafs (he got to go see them beat the Winnipeg Jets) an experience of a lifetime with his entire family. He loved every second of it and those memories will be cherished forever.
He was always active and hated sitting idle. He minced no words if you were in his circle of friends and family. He forged forward no matter the battle he faced and did so quietly, he didn’t want cancer to overrule his life and always moved forward with his agenda, many times with some of the people closest to him unaware of the heavy mental load he carried.
He will be missed beyond words and held tightly in our hearts forever. May peace envelope every fibre of your being Trapper, your guard can finally come down and you can lay down your armour because you are now free from pain.
You did everything on your terms in yr life and give us the courage to continue.
Your love and guidance will shine bright in your children and grandchildren, the brightest lights of your life.
We will carry the torch you lit for all of us that will guide each of us back to you. You leave behind a legacy of bravery, courage and determination. See you there Trap, love is for eternity and never ends.
I Love you always and forever Poopie xoxo
