

The family is heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of Gordon Pahpasay, of Grassy Narrows, Ontario. Gordon passed away on Monday, October 20th, 2025 at the age of 49. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Gordon was predeceased by members of his immediate family, his father Tom Payash, mother Mary L. Pahpasay, common law partner Mandy Loon, daughters Caitlyn Skead, Corina Skead and Precious Fobister-Pahpasay, older brother Isaac Pahpasay, sisters Jane Pahpasay and Elizabeth Pahpasay, aunt Harriet Pahpasay, nephew Leroy Fobister and niece Cind Pahpasay.
Gordon will be remembered most for his kindness, sense of humour and the love he shared with his family and friends. Gordon cherished the moments spent with those he held dear, and his gentle presence brough comfort and laughter to many. Though quiet and humble, his impact was felt deeply by those who knew him.
Gordon leaves behind the mother of his children Nora Ann Fobister and his beloved children Darrian Loon, Sally Rose Kokopenace, Gordeania Pahpasay and Pierre Pahpasay, and his grandsons Athryn and Angel White.
Gordon also leaves behind his brothers and sister Thomas Pahpasay, Mervin Pahpasay and Lucy Fobister, nieces and nephews Arnold, Holly (James), Elayne (Sam), Patricia, Laura (William Jr.), Bear (Sarah), Fawn (Mike), Kari, Ben (Adrienne), Brian (Tasha), Brent (Cayla), Isiah (Rocelle), Taryn, Cori, Maverick, Jayde, Ryan, Pawnee, Anjelica (Winston) and their numerous children (too many to mention), family friends Clayton Ogden, Denise Ogden, Derek Ogden, Travis Ogden.
Gordon will be especially missed by his special friend/niece Sharon Pahpasay.
A wake service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 10:00am at the Trappers Building located in Grassy Narrows, Ontario. Funeral service to be held on Friday, November 7th, 2025 at 11:00am at the Trappers Building with burial to follow.
