I am saddened to hear about Jaden's passing. Every day he came to class with a HUGE smile and was always so respectful. He was a wonderful writer. I loved the good times we had in class laughing and joking around. I'm grateful to have known him. He was a gentle soul. Rest in peace Jaden.

I met Jaden two years ago when we were roommates in College at Loyalist. He is one of the nicest, funniest and most genuine people I've ever met. We had a chance to bond over basketball and made memories together, including watching the Raptors win their first NBA Championship.

It's hard to believe Jaden's gone, but will not be forgotten. My condolences to his entire family and friends. He will be missed.

- Brett.

Arvel, Thomas & Family,
I would like to extend sincere condolences to your family on the loss of your son. I haven't seen him since he was but a young boy when he came to Eagle Lake to visit our family. I always thought he was a well-mannered boy, a happy and energetic youth. He will be greatly missed and loved.

Jaden was my first friend when I moved back to Kenora, and although I didn’t know him for a long time, I could see right away that he was a very genuine, loving and funny man. He made me smile and laugh a lot, and I’m sure he did the same for anyone that knew him. Jaden you will be so missed by so many. I’ll never forget the time we spent getting to know eachother. My deepest condolences to all Jaden’s family and friends. A beautiful soul gone too soon.

I didn't know him long but we were roommates during the summer at loyalist college. He made me feel welcomed and we quickly became friends. I quickly learned that the Big Ojibwa was one awesome man. He is the biggest reason I am into basket ball now

I wish I was able to be there at the funeral to say good bye in person.

I will miss you man... Rest in peace

When you see Jaden, you see a man, but forget that he was only a boy. Taking him to practice while banging out Taylor Swift was a fond memory. Jaden is a loyal and trusting person who anyone would be graced to have known. He wore his heart on his sleeve and played basketball with pride. While he attended Blakelock I saw his confidence grow as his grades started to improve immensely. Eating with him he’d always remember his roots and his family who he always missed. As a young teenager he was put into a new environment trying to reach his dream to play professional basketball, a dream that never was far away. Rest Jaden White and be at peace, you will be missed, you will always be remembered and forever loved.

I am deeply saddened to hear of this tragedy. Jayden & I and my family lived in the same house in Oakville for a while. I remember he & my son Joshua going to the YWCA to work out early in the mornings. I remember them playing basketball on the same team & having so much fun. He was always so polite & well-mannered, complimenting my mom when she baked goodies & offered him. I used to cook enough for him to ensure that he didn’t eat pizza every day. He was loved & will be sorely missed. Sincere condolences to his family & friends. May God strengthen & keep you.

I had the pleasure of being the teacher coach for Jaden’s basketball team while he attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School. He was a gentleman on and off the court. My son Parker, who played with Jaden, shared with me fond memories of their time playing basketball. May he Rest In Peace as he passes on to the Creator. Our condolences to all his family and friends.

I was fortunate enough to get to know Jayden at STAHS. I taught him a few years ago and he was always very kind and polite. I saw his sense of humour shine through on the evening of his graduation as I helped the students with their grad hats and sashes. When it was Jayden’s turn in line, he got down on his knees giggling and said, “no offence, but this is the only way you can reach!”. Jayden, you will be greatly missed by many, but never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers to you, your family and many friends.
