With faith in God’s promise of eternal, we announce the passing of our husband, dad and grandpa James Kent Sr.
James was the foundation of his life and it shaped the way he lived, his kindness, friendliness, genuine smile, compassion and gentle spirit showed in everything he did, whether quietly helping others or in the way he connected with everyone he met. James’s warmth and character are the reasons why he will be missed by so many.
James is lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years Tonis, his daughters Linda and Lindzy, his sons Tony and James Jr., his grandchildren Aria, Anastasia, Angelo and Ezekiel.
He is also remembered by his brothers Jay and Jack, his sisters Audrey, Marilyn and Jacqueline, his stepmother Rose Kelly, whom he loved and cherished profoundly, he will be also missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
A wake service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 2:00pm at the WCWA Building in Whitedog First Nation. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 11:00am at the WCWA Building in Whitedog First Nation with burial to follow.
