James William George Saunders

Jamie is survived by his wife Laura (married 61 years), three sons Bill who lives in New Westminster, BC, Dan (Amy) and Allen (Aiva) of Kenora. He was blessed with 8 grandchildren that he teased every chance he got. Bill's children Alex, Corryn and Madeleine, Dan's Ashley, Amy Lyn, Dannon & Kyle and Allen's Shayd. He was so very proud to become a great Papa Ashley & Cris have Marcella & Emmeline and Dannon & Kaila have Wyatt.

Also surviving is his mother-in-law Elizabeth Pattison who just turned 100 years young, brother Brian (Barb) of BC, sister Janet (Robert), sister-in-law Diane (Paul) and Richard & Brian (Janet), as well as many nieces and nephews and of course we can't forget his ever faithful and best friend his dog Beauty.

Jamie was happiest at his camp on Coney but also loved going south to Arizona for winters. He had made many friends who played pool and he helped at Bingo. He just liked to ride around the park, talking with Beauty at his side.

Jamie worked for the Railroad for 34 years in the shops to start, then as a conductor. He served in the military. He was the Sargeant in charge of trucks. He was known to the guys as the man who could get you everything you needed for the trucks --- "No Problem."

As per his request there will be no service, but he would love to have a small gathering of family & friends at the camp on Coney after the graveside.

We had good and bad days, happy and sad days but we loved each other to the very end. You were my rock. RIP my love.
