Johnny was born November 25, 1998, in Winnipeg St. Boniface Hospital and grew up in Kenora, Ontario. Johnny loved life in Kenora, admired the outdoors and was a free spirit. He loved playing Hockey, Snowboarding and hitting jumps, and camping with family and friends. Johnny had a huge heart and wild sense of humor. Johnny could never eat a sandwich without getting mustard all over his clothes. As a child Johnny lived careless and free chasing birds with Grandma Doris on his tail making sure he was safe. His big sister Bailey always keeping him in line and younger brother Nick keeping him on his toes. In later days his last sibling Zach was born, Johnny always watched out for him.
Johnny fought a hard game against a battle that took him from us, we will never forget our modern-day robin hood with huge heart, love for life and wild sense of humor forever gone but never forgotten.
We will love you forever Johnny boy, you are free and where the wild things are. The family would like to thank Darrel Cuthbert, Johnnys (goliath) for opening his home for us to spend are last days with Johnny, he loved you.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the fellowship center or Vermillion Bay Lion’s Club.
