Jonathan Charles Jack

It is great sadness to announce that our beloved Jonathan passed away on October 12, 2025.

Jon was born in Kenora, Ontario on September 19, 1977, he was 48 years old.

Jon was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Agnes and Charles Jack Sr. his maternal grandparents Alice and Charlie Fisher, his father Charles Jr., his sisters Jacqueline DeGroot and Stephanie Jack, his baby niece Danya and many relatives that have passed on before him.

Jon leaves to mourn his loving mother Catherine, his brother Andrew (Mikey) Fisher, his sisters Rose and Juanita (Mitchell) his many nieces and nephews, also his great nieces and nephews, his fur babies Trudy, Richter and adopted fur baby MJ. He had many aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention that will miss him. Jon had many good friends growing up but over time lost contact with them.

Jon enjoyed taking walks with his fur babies, enjoyed fishing, watching movies and watching the Maple Leafs when he can.

The wake for Jon will be on Sunday October 26th at Niisaachewan starting at 2:00pm and the service will be on Monday October 27th starting at 10:00am with Elder Gilbert Smith officiating a traditional service. Burial will be at the Lake of the Woods Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Trevor Jack, Darnel Jack, Parnell Jack, Robert Bird, Ryan Fisher, Evan Fisher and Tyler Perrault.

Catherine and family would like to thank family and extended family for their love and support, also to friends that have sent their condolences and sympathies it is sincerely and truly appreciated. We also want to acknowledge NAN Chief and Council, your support is appreciated.
