It is with very heavy hearts that the family of Jordan Lee Nash “kinewanaquot” of the Crane Clan announces his sudden passing at home on February 13, 2019. Jordan was born on February 26, 1984 and was 34 years of age. Jordan lost his mother, Marlene Nash at a very early age and went to live with Grandpa, Charlie Nash. He would refer to his auntie Rhonda Nash as his mother and his dad Mitchell White.
Jordan leaves to mourn his partner Laurie Kabestra, his beautiful sons Jordanson, Carter, Jacoby and his baby Young Charlie Nash, Grandmother Nora Nash, Auntie/mom Rhonda Nash (Mitch) , Uncles Ken, Brian, John and Stuart (Carrie) Nash and Walter Cowley, Cousins also known as brothers and sisters, Starla, Whitney Nash (Alwyn), Troy, Kerrie, Lacey, and Robbie White, Zachary Nash (Danielle), Shandi Oberle (Pat), Andria Nash (Chris), Larissa, and Brianne Nash. His biological father James Oshie and Brother Calvin Oshie, aunties Brenda, Lorna (Robert) and Darlene, uncle Byron Oshie. The family would also like to acknowledge Auntie Jermaine and Great Auntie Joy White. As well many cousins and relatives too numerous to mention.
He was predeceased by his mom Marlene Nash, Auntie Diane, and Uncle Joseph. Grandpa Charlie and Grandmother Rose Nash, brother Randy Nash the boys’ mother Zhannel Henry and Sisters Shandi and Kyla. His paternal grandparents Jimmie and Eva Oshie.
Jordan was so proud of his sons’ and would enjoy watching them play their favourite sports of hockey and baseball. He loved them very much and struggled to keep his family together which he accomplished and sadly leaves his boys behind. Jordan liked playing hockey, volleyball, basketball, and was an avid fan of movies. He also loved going to concerts and spending time at home with his partner and his boys. Jordan was kind hearted and loved his whole family. He loved to make jokes and make people laugh one of his many passions. He would kiss babies and welcome them with visits and hugs. The family will miss him very much and will continue to support and care for his boys.
The Services will be held on Animikee Wa Zhing #37 First Nation at the Recreation complex with the Wake starting at 1:00 pm on Saturday February 16, 2019 with the burial to follow and will be laid to rest by Grandpa Charlie Nash, Traditional Funeral Services will start around 10:00 am.
The family would like to thank the Treaty #3 Police, and Whitefish Bay Paramedics for their efforts and response as well the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Emergency Staff for their fight to save our Jordan. He is now free to soar with the eagles and be with those that have left us and missed dearly. We love you so much ….
