With his wife and son by his side peacefully, Kalle Juhani Isokauppila of Kenora, Ontario passed away on January 22, 20I6, at the age of 73 years.
He is survived by wife Riitta of nearly 40 years, children Kay (Clint) and Ville, grandchildren Kalle, Matti and Alexis. Predeceased by his parents , Heikki and Annikki of Finland.
Kalle was born in Hameenkyro, Finland. He immigrated to Canada in I975 with his wife. He worked for Nygard International before becoming self-employed importing forestry machines. He settled in Kenora, Ontario, as he loved the woods, lake and wildlife. He enjoyed telling stories, and giving advice as he remembered everything.
A Memorial Service will be held on January 29, 20I6 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson ‘In the Park’ Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 MacGillvray Boulevard.
