Katherine Marie Turcan passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026 with her beloved husband and sons by her side. She was 68.
Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Conleth and Margaret Warren.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 40 years, Kane; sons Kyle (Jen) Turcan and Kevin (Tammy) Turcan; grandchildren Lumi Turcan, Lucien Turcan and Augustus Turcan; siblings Judi Warren, Brian (Meriel) Warren, and Earl (Lindsay) Warren; nieces and nephews Ryan Huot, Danielle (Matt) Agnew, Christian (Carly) Huot, Emily Warren, Aidan (Léticia) Warren; honorary sister Cathy McQuillan, as well as numerous family and friends.
Kathy will be remembered for her unwavering spirit and devotion to her loved ones.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the ALS Society of Canada, Deer Lodge Centre staff, sister-in-law Dawn Turcan, and the nurses and personal support workers for their kindness, compassionate support throughout Kathy's illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Minaki Community Hall.
