Kathy McDonald

June 6, 1952 - May 2, 2019

A resident of Kenora, Ontario passed away peacefully on May 2, 2019 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital after a courageous battle with Follicular Lymphoma (Cancer).

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Bob Ralko, her children Jamie McDonald (Kim), Rob Ralko (Kelly), her grandchildren Jasmin, Alyssa (Matt), Christina (Bradley), Julia (Brad), Ashley and Jessica (Cory). As well as her great grandchildren Aria, Lily, Molly, Payton, and Carter. She is also survived by her brothers Jim Bliss (Linda) their children Brande and her family, Brittany and her family and Abraham, Rick Bliss (Joanne) their children Todd and Tanis and their family, and Tony Bliss (Louise) and their children Kimmie, Shane, Char and their family, Sister in law Denise and her children Shannon and Laureen and their families. She will be greatly missed by her lifetime friends Marilyn and Stanley McMillan of Thunder Bay, Ontario, as well as her best friends Nancy and Tish.

She was predeceased by her parents David and Katrina Bliss (nee Serediuk), and her brother David Bliss Jr. (Buster)

Kathy was born in Fort Frances, Ontario and during her pre-school years lived in Mine Centre, she completed her schooling and education in Fort Frances. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, loved her job through Pinecrest and was extremely close to her co-workers Jan Robertson and many of her clients. She had great admiration and loved to tinker with slot machines (wherever they may be), her annual trips to Turtle Lake (her brother’s camp) were very special to her.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
