August 19, 1947 - September 3, 2020
It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Kelvin Shouldice, loving husband of Vera (for 39 years), and beloved member of the Kenora community his whole life.
He left to mourn 2 daughters; Wendy Langlois (Bob Langlois, ON), Tracey Stevens of Alberta, 2 granddaughters; Shannon Dorward (Stuart Heatherington, AB), Rachelle Lillico (Logan Lillico, ON), and grandson; Dillon Stevens of Alberta. Kelvin will also be greatly missed by his 4 loving great grandsons, and 1 great granddaughter. Predeceased by his mother Evelyn Shouldice, Grandparents Annie & Joe Shouldice, 3 uncles (Lorne, Jim, frank), and many other cousins.
Being a regular comfort to the community Kelvin was often seen driving around for fun or as a taxi driver for Co-op (over 28 years); plus, he drove Truck and worked for Purse dry cleaning for many years. Towards the end of his life Kelvin loved going out and about having coffee with friends at the local subway or Husky, plus joke around with anyone nearby. His smiling face and bubbly personality will be deeply missed by all within his family and too many members of the community. A celebration of life in honor of Kelvin will be held at the beginning of October.
Due to Covid, if you would like to come to the service and pay your respects a mask or face covering must be worn at all times. Those who do not live in the same household need to be six feet apart and there is a limit of 40 family and friends that can attend this service.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 1:00 - 3:00pm at the Rideout Community Hall.
