On May 11, 2017, in the home he built with the family he loved, 53 year old Michel (Mike) Seguin passed away after a long courageous battle fighting cancer.
Mike is remembered by his loving wife Wendy of 29 years, three boys- Micheal, Eric, and Braden. His brother Ulysse. Sisters- Rachel Beausoleil and Angie Bibeau (her husband Dan). Along with numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased parents Conrad and Lorraine Seguin.
Mike meet his wife in Winnipeg and moved his family to Kenora to pursue his business in carpentry. Mike enjoyed the scenery of Kenora along with hunting and relaxing on the dock. He worked extremely hard to create a successful business to provide for his family.
A Celebration of Life was held on May 15, 2017 at the family home. Donations can be made on Mike’s name to the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation. A special thanks goes out to Dr. Beveridge and all the girls at the chemo department.
