Of Rich , he was a fun guy he will be missed.

We express our condolences to Anita and family. I grew up with Richard and knew him from age 6. We both attended Mount Carmel School along with David Wong,  the Turcotte's, Ken Myles and many others,  We knew each other well in church and school. We always thought how lucky he was to live so close to both.  Every day there was a conversation, play and interchange. He was great to be around. Richard was kind and friendly to all who knew him in the neighbourhood.  He will be deeply missed. Donna (Spalton) Wallace

Rich was both a former student of mine and over the years became a  good friend. Even after Bev and I left Kenora Rich would call and we'd reminisce about old times and always share a joke or two. Rich was a comedian with a quick wit and could turn any situation into a laugh. One day during a BBSS football game that was cold, windy and dusty he turned to me and said "This reminds me of the time I played QB for SAHARA TECH" with a straight face!
  Rich was not only funny but introspective and more clever than people gave him credit for.....he mused about what was going on in our world and what we might do about it. The only good thing about his passing is that he'll be reunited with his twin brother Ray who he missed greatly.
   I was fortunate to be one of many friends that Rich had and allowed to sing his praises.

I am so very sorry to hear about Richard😢💔. I only knew him for a few years but it felt like I knew him for years.  He was my kids bus driver and he was the most kind compassionate person. Hugs to his wife, kids, family and friends. He will be so missed. ❤️🤗

I grew up with these two,,,and could never determine which one was my favourite….all I know,,,is when we got together,,,mischief was always an ingredient in whatever we decided to do that day.   As adults ,,,we went our separate ways,,,but remained close.   I will miss seeing you Richard,,,popping up at the golf course,,or at my home,  Rest in peace,,,God bless,,,he better remember the days you and Raymond were altar boys,,,,love cuzz,,,🙏❤️❤️❤️

So sorry to hear of Richards passing. I did not know him long, but the time I spent before our morning bus runs were entertaining and humorous.

Rich and Ray the twins … I remember the first time I met them on the ROW PIPELINE. Always was a deliema with who was who,,,lots of good memories and they are missed by myself and many others in the pipeline community RIP.  🪦

Im sad to hear of Rich's passing, it was just a short time ago that we sat together at the Log Cabin for lunch. He was his usual self, joking with his special sense of humor.
I first met Rich and Ray in the 50's when their family moved behind the catholic church. We spent time together having fun and getting into mischief.
Rich went on to become a very successful pipeliner who will be fondly remembered by his friends and colleagues.
