It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear Ronnie Mandamin Jr.

He was predeceased by his sister; Baby Mandamin, Grandparents Joe Sr. and Matilda Mandamin, Thomas and Leah Land, Uncle Joe Mandamin Jr. Aunties Josie Wesley, Christine (who he also called “Mom”) and Doris Mandamin, Elizabeth Land. Cousins Christine Wesley, Elizabeth Wesley, Valerie Wesley, Stan Jr. Wesley, Donald Wesley, Fred Mandamin, Wayne Mandamin, Gary C and Eric Scott. Chris and Jason Mandamin, Keith “Charlie” Scott, Nathan Land, Calamy and Raymond Land, Laverna Land, Reuben and Juliette Hunter, Percy Prouty, Janine Taylor. Eric Mandamin, who he missed so much.

He is survived by his son Thade Eric Mandamin, his dad Ronnie Mandamin Sr., his mom Leah Kakekagumic, brother Isaiah, sister in-law Cita Mandamin, and his sisters Sidney, Shelby, Lexie Mandamin and Chrisiah Muckle. Ronnie. Jr. leaves behind so many who shared in his journey, and who he loved more than anything. Too many to mention who also loved him.

Ronnie Jr. loved all his family and friends. He was at his happiest when he was with his son Thade, brother Isaiah (Cita, Av, and Macrae), Nephew Shiekiel, Tara, and Thomas. He loved working with REMR and always said they were hard workers and great friends (Hany & Ashton).

Ronnie played defence and started playing Hockey at 4 years old (with The Mighty Mites). Hockey was one of his many passions along with the Flash and anything within the Marvel/DC Universe. He would pass his spare time reading, watching movies, and gaming with his friends online.

The Family would like to thank the OPP and Kenora EMS for their efforts.

Pallbearers will be Isaiah Mandamin, Joey Mandamin, Kyle Bunting, Jonah Tikanye, Caleb Tikanye, Hughwey Ross, Honorary Pallbearer is Thade Mandamin.

Ronnie Jr. will always be remembered for his laughter and his humor that he shared with us all.

Wake service will begin on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 12:00pm (noon) in Wabaseemoong at the WCWA Building. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 11:00 am with burial to follow.
