Ronald Morgan
Surrounded by his beloved family Ronald George Morgan completed his journey through this world on November 25, 2012 at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Ron’s journey was short ended but he lived his life with vigour, loved with his whole heart and left a legacy of treasured memories for his wife Shirley, children Ronaye, Raymond, mother Ethel Morgan-Reynard, his brother Dwayne (Tracey with children Briana, Raelynn, Alisha & Hunter) and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Also mourning Ron’s passing are Shirley’s parents (Lloyd and Carol Peterson) and sisters Barb (daughter Michelle) Dids and his faithful dogs Juso and Micha.
Waiting to welcome Ron are his father Ronald Morgan, his step father Phil Reynard, brother Wayne and his grandparents (Engstrom and Morgan families).
Ron was born on May 27, 1960 in Kenora to Ron and Ethel. He set a good example for his younger brother Dwayne.
Ron’s skills developed through his work at Quetico Centre, RW, Timber Lebrun, AK Contracting and CJ Edwards.
Ron formed his own company Ron Morgan Contracting and quickly established his reputation for reliability. When not handling his many pieces of heavy machinery, he played on his little machines-boating, four by fouring and snow machining.
His children Ronaye and Raymond grew confident under Ron’s firm but fair fathering. His heart was strong and never failed.
A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. His family invite friends to share their memories at a reception following the service at the Kenora Legion.
In Ron’s favourite assurance to Ronaye “ I will always love you to the moon and back again.”
In honour of Ron, we request that in lieu of flowers, remembrances be directed to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Riverview Brain Trauma Centre.
A special thank you to Allan (Diddy) Engstrom for all his hard work and all the nursing staff at Riverview Health Centre. Also thank you to Dr. Vaudry, Rod Shewchuk and all the neighbours especially Marlene, Ted & Gerald.
A personal thank you to both the Peterson and Morgan families for all their help in his care.
