Sandra Christine Szachury (née Field) passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, at Wiigwas Elder + Senior Care Facility at the age of 78.
Born on May 22, 1948, in New Westminster, British Columbia, Sandra had a longstanding interest in art and photography and enjoyed spending time at the beach.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Szachury (Evelyn) and Robert Szachury; her grandchildren, Rhandi, Michael, Cassandra, and Calvin; her brother, Ronald Field (Thelma); and her sister, Gwendolyn Field.
Sandra was predeceased by her father, Gordon Field; her mother, Joan; and her stepfather, George Burghuis.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
