Scott Fisher

He was predeceased by his parents, George & Inez Fisher, and leaves behind his brother, George (Gloria), his nieces Shaina and Cassie whom he adored, his great-nephew Deklyn, his sister, Laura, and his partner, Marni Fisher.

It is hard to imagine a world without Scott and his laughter, quick wit, striking blue eyes, impeccable one-liners and his ability to fix anything and everything. Scott's garage was his sanctuary, a love that was passed down from his dad, and it brought him great pride to continue using his dads tools. Just like his dad, Scott had a tool for every possible situation and was happiest when people dropped by when they needed a hand figuring out how to fix something or just for a visit, as his door was always open. That was the thing about Scott, he always looked out for the people closest to him. His friends were like family and he referred to them as his "brothers" rather than just friends.

Scott was happiest outdoors in Sioux Narrows, with some of the earliest excursions including trapping minnows for his family bait business and going out on the trapline with his dad, just to name a few. He relished in telling stories like these, allowing him to reflect on the special connection he had with both of his parents.

Scott also had a way with animals; they always seemed to just feel comfortable in his presence and vice versa. He also loved being a dog owner, and his black lab Brew brought him much joy as his companion for many years. Shortly after he and Marni started dating, they brought home their beautiful golden lab Ada, who was so special to Scott. He brought her everywhere with him, whether it be for truck rides, in his beloved side-by-side "Commander", in the boat, or just sitting comfortably by his side.

Scott had a knack for "saying it like it is", a trait that was respected by his friends and family. He was also resolute in his morals and had such a kind heart, which he extended to everyone in his orbit.

It is impossible to express how much he will be missed earthside, but we know that he will be reunited with his parents, giving us some comfort and solace.

Scott’s Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Totem Lodge Resort in Sioux Narrows.
