William, a resident of Shoal Lake 39 First Nation, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Margaret Ann Jack, Barbara Flett, aunt Claudette Michell, cousins Logan Michell and Melissa Michell.
He is survived by his parents Reginald Ashley Jack (Jasmine Mousseau), Shoneen Flett (Esau Turner), grandfathers Larry Mandamin and Duncan (Dora) Flett, great grandma Adelaide Michell, his siblings Hannah Turner, Athena Turner, Ramses Mousseau, Jacob Mousseau, Cailey Turner, Skye, Nicolas, Logan McKay, Brielle McKay, aunties Jennifer, Donalda, Breena Jack, Courtney Mae Mandamin, Jennifer and uncles Rollie and Duncan, godmother Melody Bighetty (Mike Grant), as well as many relatives and family members too numerous mention.
William had many interests in life, he enjoyed astronomy, airsoft, bushcraft and camping, hiking, hunting, gaming, playing guitar and listening to his favourite music. He enjoyed socializing and hanging out with his many friends and family for which he was beginning to meet and form bonds with.
A Wake service will be held at the David Kejick School Gymnasium on Thursday, February 1, 2024 beginning at 12:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the David Kejick School Gymnasium on Friday, February 2, 2024 beginning at 10:00 am with Roderick Mandamin, followed by a Traditional Service led by Howard Copenace.
A visitation will be held in Winnipeg at Aboriginal Funeral Home on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 3:00-9:00 pm. William will be travelling on Saturday, February 3, 2024 to be interred at Lake of the Woods Cemetery.
