Angie Gonzales, a beloved and compassionate individual, passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on July 15, 1936, in Yuma City, Arizona, she was a devoted and faithful person who cherished her family deeply.
Angie was a devoted Catholic and a dedicated Avon representative for over 53 years. She was known for her love of dance and social gatherings, often spending time with her family and loved ones. Her home was a place of warmth and welcome, where she enjoyed sewing and hosting gatherings, embodying her family-oriented spirit.
She is survived by her loving spouse, Carlos Gonzales of 70 years and her children: Carlos Gonzales Jr. (Marlene), Lydia Zozaya, Sylvia Fairless (Tom), Dora Mendoza (Manuel), Patricia Mora (Ruben), Caroline Alvarado (Mark), Frank Gonzales (Pikka), and Michelle Gonzales Lopez (Thomas). Angie also leaves behind her 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Valentin and Luz Gonzales. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire her family and friends. Angie was a resident of Firebaugh, California, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity.
A visitation for Angie will be held at Palm Memorial - Kerman Chapel, 538 South Madera Avenue, Kerman, CA 93630, on March 15, 2026, at 5:00 pm.
A viewing will be held at St. Anthony of Padua, Fresno, 5770 N Maroa Ave, Fresno, CA 93704, on March 16, 2026, at 9:00 am, followed by the Rosary at 9:30 am and Mass at 10:00 am.
Angie will be laid to rest at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 S Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
Serving as pallbearers are Vincent Rivera, Lionel Zozaya III, Tom Fairless, Tony Mendoza, Anthony Mora, Mark Alvarado, Frank Gonzales, and Michelle Gonzales-Lopez.
