Francisco Valtierra Gomez, age 94, of Kerman, California passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Francisco loved gardening, taking care of his flowers and yard. Francisco's passion was working on his fruit trees and tending to his animals. Francisco loved spending time with his family. Francisco loved working on his ranch and looked forward to harvesting his Thompson grapes, the more boxes of raisins he had the bigger his smile. Francisco also enjoyed going to the livestock and bidding on livestock and spending time with his sons and grandchildren. At the end of the auction, Francisco would treat everyone to the best burgers.
Francisco is survived by his wife Felisa Gomez and his children; Antonio Gomez, Jesse Gomez (Marta), John Gomez, Angel Gomez (Belinda), Carmen Trevino (Javier). Francisco also leaves behind his 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Francisco was preceded in death by wife Juana Cordero-Gomez and his sons Carlos Gomez, Frankie Gomez.
A visitation for Francisco will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, rosary from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Palm Memorial Kerman Chapel 538 S. Madera Ave Kerman, CA 93630. A mass will occur Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 15437 W. Kearney Blvd, Kerman, CA 93630. Committal will follow from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 South Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
Serving as pallbearers are Mark Anthony Sanchez, Javier Trevino Jr., Nicholas Andrew Trevino, Jesse Gomez-Gomez, Joanna Gomez-Gomez, Jerry Gomez-Gomez, Alfonso Medina Orosco, Javier Trevino, John Cordero Gomez, Stephen Nathaniel Gomez, Angel Francisco Gomez, Christopher Nicholas Gomez and Angel Cordero Gomez.
