Gale was born on February 3, 1923 in Griswold, Iowa. She grew up on the family farm with her large family. After graduating from Griswold High School, she taught in a rural school for a few years, and then moved to California during WWII. Gale married Vernon Edwards and they resided in Woodland, raising four children. The family moved to Kerman in 1963. Gale worked as a Teacher’s Aide at Kerman Elementary School for many years. She was very involved with the Kerman Methodist Church. She passed away peacefully on November 27, 2021.
Gale is survived by her daughter Priscilla Edwards; her sons; Dale Edwards (Laura); Bruce Edwards (Heidi); Donald Edwards (Sue); her sister Velma Powers. She also leaves behind her 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Gale was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Edwards.
At Gale’s request, no services will be held.
