Theresa Padilla Palacios was born on July 19, 1962, in Harbor City, California. She passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, at the age of 63. Theresa was a resident of Kerman, California, where she spent many cherished years.
Theresa was a devoted mother to her son Ruben D. Palacios(Justine) and daughter Nicole Palacios. She was loved by her husband Jesus Palacios for 42 wonderful years. Theresa’s legacy continues through her grandchildren Leila Maria Palacios, Apollo Domingo Palacios, Alex Nicole Navarro, and Ember Natalie Diaz.
Theresa was survived by her mother Maria de Jesus Marin Padilla. Her siblings Rebecca Padilla Cornejo, Yolanda Padilla Moreno, Domingo Johnnie Padilla, and Richard Padilla. She was preceded in death by her father Domingo Muñoz Padilla.
Theresa was a compassionate individual that touched the lives of many. She was known for her love of frogs, bright colors, and her sense of adventure. She loved reading and was very intellectually curious.
She prided herself on supporting her family, especially supporting her grandchildren’s interests. You could always find her in the stands cheering them on and taking her grandchildren on many adventures. They were her joy.
A visitation and rosary will be held at Palm Memorial-Kerman Chapel on January 29, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Mass for the repose of her soul will be held on January 30, 2026 at 10:00am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, located at 15437 W. Kearney Blvd. Kerman, Ca 93630. Pall bearers honoring Theresa’s memory include Ruben D. Palacios, Johnny Coronado Sr., Eric Coronado, Michael Padilla, Robert Padilla, and Jaime Padilla.
Theresa was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. When you see a sunset, think of her. May she rest in the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
