
Christine L. Carson, 58, of Kimball, died at Kimball Health Services on Sunday, October 30, 2011. Family arranged memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the Kimball Event Center. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family. The services for Christine have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.
Christine Lynn Carson was born in Oil City, Pennsylvania on March 7, 1953, the daughter of Richard and Dorothy (Campbell) Carson. She was the oldest of four children and lived with her family in Pennsylvania until moving to Denver in 1962. She attended the Mapleton High School in north Denver and graduated in 1972. She continued to live in Denver until moving to Kimball in 2005. While growing up she worked in a nursing home as a candy striper. She studied to be an architect and engineer. She worked for Storage Technology as an electronics technician and she also helped her dad in his asphalt business when he needed help. She was her brother and sisters rodeo ambassador when they attended rodeos. Christine loved to fish and spend time outdoors. She was a lover of all animals. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed harassing her brother and sister. She was a tough lady with a soft heart.
Survivors include her life partner Jessica Carson of Kimball; parents Dick (Ginger) Carson of Scottsbluff, NE; daughter Katy Cunningham of Aurora, CO: sisters Carol (Terry) Connell of Whitney, NE., and Cheryal (Dave) Heppner of Seattle, WA; brother Craig (Kristei) Carson of Kimball; grandchildren Xavier, Jaden and Gabriel; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Carson, brother Richard E. Carson, II, nephew Craig Alan Carson, Jr.; her beloved pets Doberman Texas Dude and her horse Rowdy.
