Albert Kenneth Cook

Albert was born on October 8, 1932 in Silverwood, Michigan, the son of Merritt and Doris (Smith) Cook. Albert worked many years around the Flint area, for Chevrolet and different job shops in the engineering and architectural fields. He loved his small farm in Buckley and enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping.

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Sue (Lipke) Cook; daughter, Kathleen Cook of Hadley, MI; brother, Edwin Lapham and his wife Donyela of Florida; sister, Lois Powell and husband Larry of Florida; and beloved dog, Laddie.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 2 pm at Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley with visitation starting one hour prior to the service.
